  • Publication number: 20250193140
Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for carrying encoded data in a header field of an email message wherein the encoded data is homomorphically encrypted such that the encoded data is only interpretable by one or more authorized recipients and operable by any recipient. A recipient of such an email message (which may be the sender or another recipient) can derive an action to be carried out from the homomorphically-encrypted encoded data.

  • Publication number: 20220355033
Abstract: A fluid dispensing device adapted for intramuscular injection into a living organism is provided. The device has an energy storage arrangement providing energy in at least two bursts. The first burst is provided from a first energy source and is that which is necessary to pierce the skin of the living organism and insert the needle to the injection site. The second burst is provided by a second energy source and is that which is necessary to pump the fluid out of the reservoir and into the living organism. Optionally, the remaining energy is used to retract the needle out of the living organism. Together with a prescribed operating sequence of the device, use of the two sources of energy contained in the device is optimized to provide the at least two bursts of energy.

  • Publication number: 20210330878
Abstract: A fluid dispensing device is provided for dispensing a measured amount of fluid into a living organism. The device includes a rigid fluid reservoir closed by a septum for use in a fluid dispensing device for dispensing a measured amount of fluid into a living organism, wherein the device has a main housing enclosing the operative components of the device, the said fluid reservoir located within the main housing, an injection assembly including a needle, and a trigger mechanism. The needle has a first end adapted to piercing the septum and pushing the septum into the reservoir so that the septum acts as a piston, expelling the fluid through the needle, and a second end adapted to injecting the fluid into the living organism.
