    Abstract: A dynamic viscoelastic vibration neutralizer for industrial pipes includes a metallic housing, to which the shaft supports are fixed, by screws. The supports of the viscoelastic pieces and the supports of the housing itself, allow the junction of the device with the system to be controlled. An oscillating mass, fixed in the center of a metallic shaft, is supported by the shaft supports. two sets of viscoelastic pieces, are fixed by one of their ends to the supports of the viscoelastic pieces and by the other to the oscillating mass.

    Abstract: Method for operating a block storage arrangement and a block storage arrangement that has multiple container stacking chambers, a loading chamber arranged below the container stacking chambers, and at least one loading vehicle, which includes a travel drive and a lifting drive, that is movable in the loading chamber. The method includes positioning, via the travel drive, the at least one loading vehicle below a preselected container stacking chamber; via the lifting drive, one of storing a container in the container stacking chamber from below or removing a container downwardly from the container stacking chamber; and prior to a person gaining access to at least the loading chamber, placing the block storage arrangement into a secure state by inactivating at least the lifting drive of the loading vehicle.

    Abstract: The air conveyor comprises a guide rail (3) on which the articles (1) are to be suspended, and along which the articles are to be transported in a given direction of transport. The conveyor system provides a pneumatic means to move the articles in the direction of transport and further includes additional pneumatic means (10) that are designed to generate, when operated, a plurality of reverse air jets orientated onto the articles in a direction opposite that of their direction of transport. The user of the reverse jets makes it possible, in particular, to free without manual intervention articles accidentally immobilised in the course of transport, or, to slow down, immobilise or impart a rhythm to the articles as they are transported.

    Abstract: A support apparatus has lengthwise beams which are coupled together by a plurality of cross members. The beams are hingedly fixed to the plurality of cross members via intermediate members. The apparatus is pantographically movable, and thus the volume of the apparatus can be reduced for transport. Two such apparatus can be coupled together to form a support system on which a cover is held. The cover is supported on a number of arcuate supports which extend between the beams, the ends of the arcuate supports being folded over to hold the cover in place.
