    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an improved stripping process that allows for double stripping in a fiber optic cable processing apparatus. The fiber optic cable processing apparatus has a double stripping fixture that includes a first set of blades configured for stripping a buffer layer off a fiber optic cable and a second set of blades for simultaneously stripping a buffer layer and a coating layer off the fiber optic cable. The double stripping fixture can also include spacers that are configured to set a gap between the first and second sets of blades.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method is used to correct deviations between a predicted gas excess air ratio and a calculated excess air ratio in a dual fuel engine or other gas fueled compression ignition engine. The method includes determining gas excess air ratio for the engine based at least in part on at least one detected current operating parameter and calculating a predicted exhaust gas oxygen concentration engine based on the predicted gas excess air ratio. A time based filtered predicted exhaust gas oxygen concentration value may then be calculated and compared to a time-based filtered measured exhaust gas oxygen concentration value. The resultant oxygen concentration deviation value may be used to generate a corrected predicted gas excess air ratio.

    Abstract: A microprocessor which includes means for rounding a 68 bit binary number. The rounding bit is calculated based on the precision, rounding mode, and the Guard, Round, and Sticky bits. One path assumes that the number will not be rounded up and pads zeros to the fraction bits according to the precision. Another path assumes that the number will be rounded up. Ones instead of zeros are padded, again, according to the precision. Then, the padded number is incremented by one. Based on the rounding bit, either the non-rounded up path or the rounded up path will be chosen. Thereby, a correctly rounded number with the trailing bits following the least significant bit of the selected precision being zeros results.
