  • Publication number: 20140326648
Abstract: “IMPROVEMENT ON FACILITY FOR REMOVAL OF MATERIALS AND/OR POLLUTING SUBSTANCES CONTAINED IN WATERCOURSES”, applied to facility comprising: the implementation of a sandbox arranged at the bottom and in a stretch of the watercourse, followed by a floating garbage fence arranged substantially transversely to the watercourse; whereas downstream and at a certain distance from this garbage fence is provided a suspended and transverse metallic structure to the watercourse, in which curtains for selective injection and automatically set in motion are mounted, arranged spaced and interspersed by homogenization diffusers, these curtains are responsible for the injection of coagulants; by the injection of polymers into the watercourse to be treated, and ahead there is a phase for release of microbubbles of air, causing a flotation of these aggregate particles; allowing that from this flotation stretch arises, along the watercourse, a superficial agglomeration of the floated material, and the conduction by flexible and lo

  • Publication number: 20130140242
Abstract: The injection of oxygen to a flotation basin in the process of removing pollutants from water streams comprising applying a flocculating or coagulating agent to a portion of the water stream, and creating a flocculation basin along the water stream. The injection of oxygen includes submitting the aggregate particles with higher dimension and density located upstream of the portion of the water stream to at least one of dissolving and injecting oxygen, directing same to dissolving plants through pressurized mixers, thus forming a water/oxygen mixture to be injected to portions of the water stream, causing the aggregate particles to float; creating a flotation basin along the portion of the water stream, the agglomerated material present upstream on the surface and by the banks of the water stream being removed by scraping the surface of the water stream.

  • Publication number: 20110260472
Abstract: The current Patent of Invention intends to produce electrical energy by using the movement (law of inertia) of vehicles in major avenues, streets, roads, highways and similar ones spread in the country and worldwide. The process of production is basically to implement in highways, roads, avenues and similar ones, large cylinders at the asphalt level—only a part of these cylinders will come into contact with the vehicle tires, and the other part will be inserted inside the passage location vehicle. Through the friction caused among the tires and cylinders, the kinetic energy of the vehicle causes a kinetic energy in the cylinders.

  • Publication number: 20100095475
Abstract: The present invention consists of or includes an inlet device, of the valve type, used in a Central Vacuum System (CVS) and built into the skirting board, namely in the kitchen of a house. The function of the device is to collect dust and small debris with the aid of a broom into the entrance of this CVS, by means of a micro-switch activated CVS mechanism located in the skirting board, so as to avoid the use of a vacuum cleaner or vacuum tube also connected to the CVS. The device can comprise: a base body which can be assembled on the wall at the height of the skirting board; a cover which engages in the base body; an unlocking button which disengages the cover; a sealing strip which is glued to the base body; a micro-switch which engages in the base body; a helical torsion spring engaged in the cover, by means of a pin, which causes the cover to open in relation to the base body.

  • Publication number: 20080285376
Abstract: A mixer having multiple gas inlets of the type consisting of comprising a water discharge chamber composed of two concentrical tubular parts of the same length but having different diameters, defining an internal discharge chamber having a ring-shaped transversal section in the equipment. The discharge chamber is provided with two tangential points, an upper inlet point for the pressurized water and another lower outlet point for the solubilized water, in such a way that an area (for the injection of gases is defined between said points by a spread box provided in its external wall with a plurality of inlets interconnected to reservoirs of gases that pass through external compressors.

  • Publication number: 20080034346
Abstract: A method prepares a computer program for operation in a computer supply system that supplies portions, or program units, of program code or program data of the computer program as the program needs the portions. The method includes defining a program unit of the program and removing the program unit from the program, thereby producing a program skeleton that is missing the program unit. The method further includes inserting instructions in place of the program unit in the program skeleton. The instructions are operative to request the program unit when the program skeleton encounters the instructions. An information structure includes a program skeleton of a program. The program skeleton is missing a funclet of the program, but includes a placeholder in place of the funclet. The program skeleton additionally includes instructions in place of the funclet. The instructions are operative to request the funclet when the program skeleton encounters the instructions.

  • Patent number: 7297258
Abstract: The coupling of a sewer treatment station to a treatment plant for the flocculation and flotation of water streams and the insertion of said treatment plant for the flocculation and flotation of water streams into a water treatment station. The sewer treatment station is installed upstream from the flocculation and flotation treatment station, in such a way that the outlet of said station is directly connected to the inlet of the flocculation and flotation treatment plant disposed next to the stream bed or next to and interconnected thereto by means of a varying flow canal. The insertion has dynamic introduction of the process of treatment for the flocculation and flotation of fluid beds, all in a closed canal, wherein the flow of secondary streams (E) is dynamically and continuously submitted to flocculation and flotation techniques in an induced flow canal (FE) in the water treatment station.

  • Patent number: 7237241
Abstract: Computer systems have resources that are often shared by plural processes (or threads). It is often desirable to limit access to these shared resources to one process at a time. Historically locks were used in conjunction with conditional tests to provide exclusive access to a region of code or data. Instead, a global variable contains a pointer to either a protected resource, or an exchange instruction. A process exchanges its' local variable with the global variable and jumps to the location in the exchanged local variable. If the global variable had the pointer to the shared resource before the exchange, then the jump enters the protected region. If not, the jump returns to exchange variables again. As soon as the pointer to the protected resource is returned to the global variable, a next exchange and jump will access the shared resource.

  • Publication number: 20030085176
Abstract: A process of environmental recovery in urban regions that acts along the entire watercourse mesh of an urban region, from the canalized domestic course of sewerage systems to the urban sections of riverbed, including the following stages: from the domestic section, such as a sewerage gallery, to promote a micro application of floating or coagulating material in the watercourse to be treated, whether rainwater or sewer matter; followed by micro flocculation, so as to promote an aggregation of particles in suspension downstream, defining flakes of greater dimensions; submit those larger aggregated particles in suspension downstream in this domestic watercourse to, at least one step of dissolution and air injection, causing a micro floatation of such aggregated particles; allowing a micro aggregation of the floating material to occur downstream, which will be removed from this domestic course before it reaches a streamlet or even a river effluent; next, after the flow of water submitted to a micro treatment is t
