  • Publication number: 20220121470
Abstract: In one embodiment, metadata associated with deployment of a container within an orchestration environment includes information indicating security preferences for deployment of the container within the orchestration environment, information indicating a level of communications between the container and other containers, and/or information indicating effects of execution of the container with respect to other containers. The metadata is used to select a particular node of a plurality of nodes within the orchestration environment on which to deploy the container based on the metadata.

  • Patent number: 7072988
Abstract: A method for verifying bus performance in a multiple initiator environment is provided. A first initiator generates a key data pattern including a key header and a pattern. The first initiator then writes the key data pattern to an echo buffer of a target after which the first initiator reads the key data pattern. The first initiator also examines the key header to ascertain a level of communication integrity of a physical connection with the target.

  • Patent number: 6038619
Abstract: If consecutive read or write requests imposed on a DASD are of the same type and bear a defined sequential logical address relationship (pure sequential, near sequential), then a circular buffered data path using a pair of a synchronously managed read/write ports respectively coupling either a cyclic, concentric, multitracked storage medium or a cyclic, spiral-tracked storage medium and a device interface can continue data streaming unabated. Otherwise, the path would ordinarily have to be disabled and reconnected using a control microprocessor in respect of any random sequence of requests.
