  • Publication number: 20240137612
Abstract: The present invention discloses improved methods and systems for identifying transitions between programming content and commercial ad content in pre-recorded media files, live digital broadcasts, or streaming media—content streams—that have no ad break markers encoded therein. The process employs iterative, machine learning context models to improve ad break identification accuracy the more it is used. The present invention enables the dynamic replacement of ads already in the content stream with customized ads “on the fly”. The present invention also enables “on the fly” ad skipping in recorded media.

  • Patent number: 9363283
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed to providing a digital reputation score. The server can generate a first reputation score of a user based on the user's online activity, identity verification, and online transaction history. The server can identify, from the user's online account, a first set of online accounts with which the user established a unidirectional trust relationship from the user to the first set of online accounts. The server can identify, from the user's online account, a second set of online accounts with which the user established a unidirectional trust relationship from the user to the second set of online accounts. The server can generate a second reputation score based on the first number and second number of trust relationships from the first set and second set of online accounts respectively. The server can generate a third reputation using the first and second reputation scores.

  • Patent number: 6837125
Abstract: A manipulator for accurately positioning a test head in automatic test systems supports the test head internally and reduces the overall size of the manipulator. The manipulator includes an elongated blade that extends into a central region of the test head. A spherical bearing is disposed within an opening of the elongated blade, and has an outlet race attached to the elongated blade. A shaft passes through the inner race of the spherical bearing and attaches to the body of the test head via a transition insert. The test head can thus be supported internally and made to rotate in compliance on the spherical bearing, about all axes of rotation.

  • Patent number: 4762358
Abstract: A light weight vehicle sun screen is provided having a mounting system adaptable to curved windows of varying curvature. A pair of articulated mounting brackets are connected to substantially flat mounting plates thereby allowing the mounting plates to pivot until they are substantially aligned with the glass surface. The mounting plates can be secured to the glass directly or to the frame adjacent the glass via reticulated fasteners or the equivalent. The screen is biased toward a retracted position by a biasing assembly mounted substantially within a roller. A biasing spring straddles the shaft and is mounted to the frame with built-in windup so as to bias the screen toward the retracted position. The spring force can be overcome by drawing the screen down and securing the screen to a suitable retaining device.
