  • Publication number: 20220347385
Abstract: A medical device such as an infusion system detects that an accessory has been coupled to the device. The medical device initially operates in a first mode of operation. The medical device, in response to the detecting, associates the accessory with a different mode of operation for the medical device that requires changes to at least one of the operating parameters for the infusion system or elements within a graphical user interface. The medical device then automatically changes the mode of operation from the first mode of operation to the associated different mode of operation to reflect the coupling of the accessory to the infusion system. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 7851539
Abstract: Reduced VOC coatings are provided that include small amounts of modified hyperbranched polymers added and reduced solvents to reduce VOC levels by as much as 30% and more. The reduced VOC coatings have substantially improved flow and performance characteristics over comparable commercially available reduced VOC coatings.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 28, 2006
Date of Patent: December 14, 2010
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency

  • Patent number: 5236672
Abstract: Apparatus and method for controlling volatile organic compounds and air toxics in a contaminated fluid flow through use of an excited species flow generated and introduced into the contaminated fluid flow to convert the contaminants into non-toxic compounds. Tungsten electrodes and an alternating current are used in the excited species generator.
