  • Publication number: 20240002413
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new family of titanium heterometallic structured metal-organic materials (MOFs) having, among other characteristics, high porosity, stability in an aqueous medium and photocatalytic activity under visible light and UV radiation. The new family of materials has a structural unit that combines tetravalent titanium with multiple combinations of divalent metals with a homogeneous distribution at atomic level in the MOF structure. The invention also relates to methods for obtaining them with high yields, in addition to their uses in the generation of solar fuels, photoactivated degradation, photoreduction of CO2, heterogeneous catalysis, as a component or part of an electronic component and/or as a porous or photoactive coating for controlling pollutants, inter alia.

  • Publication number: 20230142032
Abstract: A mannequin for supporting a pair of trousers whereon a laser marking is performed, having two leg structures housed inside the trouser legs. Each structure has a longitudinal axis, upper and lower areas, front and rear planes, an inner side and outer side. The separation between the inner and outer sides varies due to the tensing mechanism in order to go from a non-operative loosened position (A) to a maximum tensed end position (B) to perform the marking. Each leg structure is coupled to a respective main rotation axis around which rotates by a respective articulation having the mannequin for each leg structure. The main rotation axis is parallel to the direction of the dimension of the rise of the pair of trousers or collinear with it. The front planes can form at least two angles greater and/or less than 180° when rotated around the respective main rotation axes thereof.

  • Publication number: 20230089010
Abstract: The titanium (IV) and iron (III) MOF solid MUV-17 (TiFe2), has general formula (1): [TiIVFeIII2(O)(L)2(X)3]S, where X is each equal or different selected from: O2?, OH?, H2O, F?, Cl?, Br?, I?, NO3?, ClO4?, BF4?, SCN?, OH?, CH3COO?, C5H7O2?, SO42? and CO32?, L is a tricarboxylic ligand and S is at least one molecule of a polar solvent selected from the group consisting of N,N?-dimethylformamide,N,N?-diethylformamide,N,N?-dimethylacetamide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, n-propanol, water and mixtures thereof. The titanium (IV) and iron (III) MOF solid has long-term catalytic activity for the degradation of toxic compounds. The method for obtaining them comprises dissolving the components under anaerobic conditions. The invention also relates to the use of the titanium (IV) and iron (III) MOF solid as an additive with detoxifying properties of toxic compounds.

  • Publication number: 20110091371
Abstract: Soluble homo and heterometallic coordination polymers based on the oxalate ligand and method for obtaining spinels from them. Homo or heterometallic coordination polymers comprising at least one oxalate ligand are characterised by comprising also at least one organic molecule that can stabilise extended structures of metal complexes by the formation of supramolecular interactions so that this polymer is substantially water-soluble and insoluble in organic solvents.

  • Publication number: 20050018213
Abstract: An electronic document is distributed for use as a form wherein users can fill in characters in selected fields. The electronic document contains an embedded program for printing a bar code that represents the characters entered in the fields. The embedded program generates commands for making a printer print basic geometrical elements (such as polygons) that form configurations that represent the characters (or compactions of characters etc.). Thus on one hand bar codes can be generated in the distributed document after the user has entered data and on the other hand the author of the document retains full control over how the entered characters will be converted into a bar code. Preferably, the embedded program has the capability to adapt the configuration of geometrical elements that is used to represent the characters dependent on factors other than the data values that can be decoded from the bar code.
