  • Publication number: 20060142147
Abstract: A catalyst system, a polymerization process using that catalyst system and polymers produced therefrom. The catalytic system results from the combination of bridged indenyl metallocenes of general formula I and an organoaluminium or boron perfluorinated co-catalyst, where M is a transition metal of Group 4 of the Periodic Table of the elements, Q is a divalent substituent and X1 and X2 are monovalent anionic ligands. Polyethylene copolymers made with such catalysts can have from narrow to broad to bimodal molecular weight distribution and melt indexes from about 0 to higher than 10 without the need of molecular weight regulators, depending on proper selection of the indenyl substituent, number of substituents (single or both indenes substituted) and the type of stereoisomeric form used: pure (racemic or meso) or mixtures thereof.

  • Publication number: 20050215342
Abstract: A golf putting practice aid has a rectangular base frame that serves as a stroke window for shot set-up and aiming purposes. A side frame is movably mounted on the base frame for pivotal movement from a folded, minimum profile storage configuration to an upright operative putting position. The side frame includes an elongated guide bar disposed in parallel alignment with the longitudinal axis of the stroke window for engaging and guiding pendulum movement of a putter shaft during execution of a putting stroke. The slope angle of the side frame relative to the base frame, and thus the elevation of the guide bar, is manually adjustable to suit the golfer's personal swing preference and putter selection. The guide bar and one of the base rails are marked with colored bands for indicating back swing stroke range and follow-through stroke range.

  • Patent number: 6056633
Abstract: The apparatus has: a rocking support and an upper clamping member for blocking the lens disc; a first transparent screen provided with reference lines; an image pick-up which obtains images of the lines and images of the disc; an optical system located between the means and the pick-up; an electronic circuitry for processing the images and the modifications in the reference lines caused by inserting the disc between the lines and the pick-up, building a synthetic image; a digital reader for frame forms, in communication with the circuitry; and a second screen for displaying a synthetic image superimposed on the frame data.

  • Patent number: 5681161
Abstract: The invention refers to a lighter which has a main body (1) and a cap (2); the main body (1) defines, in its upper part a tubular extension (12) to which is fixed an annular stone (5) and in its lower part a gas reservoir (11) equipped with a valve (3) with the corresponding burner (4). On the burner (4) an annular rasp (6) is mounted which is moveable and to which there is an associated bracket (8), and a spring (9) which pushes the afore-mentioned bracket (8) towards the upper part of the main body. The bracket (8) has lateral arms which protrude from the extension (12) through windows (13) and are located in cut-outs (24) defined in the interior of the cap (2). The recession of the cap (2) determines the action of a lever (10) which opens the gas valve (3) and the striking of the rasp (6) against the stone (5).

  • Patent number: 5236389
Abstract: A coin counter and return device useful in automatic vending machines, amusement devices and slot machines, consisting of a fixed base upon which there is a rotating body and a plurality of projections. The rotating body has at least one contact face and has a plurality of recesses each of which is positioned to receive one of the projections. To remove a coin, the contact face knocks a coin against the projections and presses the coin against the projections at contact points separated by a distance less than the coin's diameter. This impels the coin towards the outside. In this way, coins of any dimension may be counted and returned.

  • Patent number: 4753796
Abstract: The invention provides a process for the insulation of an antigenic composition substantially free from cells and lipopolysaccharide, the said composition comprising a complex having a polysaccharide constituent and a protein constituent, wherein the polysaccharide constituent comprises capsular polysaccharide specific to serogroup B of N. meningitidis, and the protein constituent comprises N. meningitidis outer-membrane protein selected from the class consisting of those proteins specific to serotype 6, those proteins specific to serotype 2 and having a single dominant component having a molecular weight of 42,000.+-.3,000, and immunological equivalents of such proteins. Preferably the composition also comprises a pharmacologically acceptable metal either as an adjuvant in admixture with the polysaccharide-protein complex, or in complex therewith to provide a triple metal-polysaccharide-protein complex. The composition is useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of bacterial disease in mammals such as man.

  • Patent number: 4740589
Abstract: Complexes comprising a metal constituent and a bacterial capsular polysaccharide constituent, wherein the polysaccharide contains sialic acid, are useful in the prophylaxis and treatment of bacterial diseases. The polysaccharide is preferably colominic acid or meningoccal group B polysaccharide. Preferred metals are aluminum and ruthenium. The complexes preferably also contain a third constituent of bacterial outer-membrane protein. Some of the complexes, especially when formulated as vaccines, are particularly applicable in the prophylaxis and treatment of cerebrospinal meningits.
