  • Publication number: 20240212511
Abstract: A system and a method include a flight plan generating control unit configured to receive a flight plan request for an aircraft from a user interface, determine if the flight plan request matches a flight plan within a flight plan database, in response to the flight plan request matching the flight plan within the flight plan database, submit the flight plan to a validation sub-system, and in response to the flight plan request not matching the flight plan within the flight plan database, determine a new flight plan.

  • Publication number: 20230401964
Abstract: A flight planning system and method include one or more control units configured to determine, from ensemble data, a plurality of flight plans for an aircraft from a departure location to an arrival location. The ensemble data includes an aggregation of data from multiple data sources. In at least one example, the one or more control units are further configured to determine a preferred flight plan from the plurality of flight plans.

  • Publication number: 20230222926
Abstract: A method is provided for predicting a reroute for a planned flight of an aircraft. The method includes building a machine learning model to predict a reroute on a future date of a planned flight of an aircraft. The machine learning model is built in a batch process that includes accessing reroute data and weather data, and performing a data wrangling of the reroute data and the weather data to produce a collection of data keyed by date. Candidate machine learning models are built using a training set produced from the collection of data. The candidate machine learning models are evaluated, and the machine learning model is selected from the candidate machine learning models based on the evaluation. And the machine learning model is output for deployment to classify the future date as having a reroute advisory issued, and predict a reroute on the future date.

  • Publication number: 20210358313
Abstract: Examples provide a method and apparatus for predicting airport utilization. A plurality of data sources provides raw flight data and weather data which is stored in a key value data store. The incoming raw data is cleaned, correlated and indexed. The processed data is stored in an interim data store. A plurality of competing predictive models use the processed data and historical data to generate predicted arrivals and departures for a selected runway during a selected time-period. The predicted data is compared to actual arrival and departures for the selected runway. The ML model generating predicted results most closely matching the actual arrival and departure data is selected. The selected ML model generates predicted future arrivals and future departures data for the runway based on real-time flight data and weather data for output via a user interface device.

  • Patent number: 10230138
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and method for maintaining a battery at an operating temperature. Said device for maintaining a first battery at an operating temperature is characterized in that it comprises: a heating circuit (140) capable of heating the first battery; and a monitoring circuit (200) connected to the heating circuit, the monitoring circuit being capable of controlling the operation of the heating circuit according to predetermined programming.

  • Patent number: 9710499
Abstract: A method of detecting whether a packet from a plurality of packets transmitted by at least one transmitting station over a network has been played back is disclosed. Each packet includes a message and an identifier, the packets being successively transmitted over several consecutive time periods. The method includes receiving the packet by at least one receiving station and reading of the identifier of the received packet to obtain a received identifier, and consulting, by the receiving station, a database of identifiers already received to determine whether the received identifier has already been received. If the received identifier has not already been received, the method also includes updating the database to include the received identifier. The identifier includes an indicator of belonging to groups of packets.
