Abstract: A method for producing a woven personal respirator mask includes providing a plurality of warp ends into an electronic woven label loom, programming the loom to weave the warp ends into a sheet having a repeating mask pattern in the weave direction, the mask pattern comprising an edge border having a tight weave and defining therein a filter section, the filter section having a tubular weave to define an outer layer and an inner layer, at least one of the outer layer and an inner layers comprising a filter weave, and at least one intermediate interlock fastening at least a point of the outer layer to an opposing point on the inner layer, and cutting the sheet to separate the repeating mask pattern into individual mask parts with a hot-wire slitter.

Abstract: A method of converting an elongated web of filamentary textile material into lengths; of coherent labels for application to garments includes placing a first row of selvage on the web at a first predefined distance from a first outer edge thereof, the first predefined distance being greater than zero, placing a second row of selvage on the web at a second predefined distance from a second outer edge thereof, the second predefined distance being greater than zero, and placing at least a third row and a fourth row of selvage on the web between the first and second rows, a portion of the filamentary material separating each of the rows from the other. A following step includes cutting the web along a line lying between the third and fourth rows of selvage and at a predefined distance away from each of the third and fourth rows of selvage, the predefined distance being greater than zero.

Abstract: A system for curing dye at a material web includes a curing chamber defining an interior for receiving the web of material therein. An entrance connects the interior with the environment and receives the web therethrough. An exit connects the interior with the environment and transmits the web therethrough from the interior to the environment. A temperature sensor is disposed at the curing chamber and senses web temperature. A heating system heats air inside the chamber. An air transfer system circulates air in the interior of the chamber. The air transfer system and the heating system, when activated, heat the web in the interior to a substantially constant curing temperature. Preferably, the web is a web for clothing labels and the dye in each label is a resin dye indicating washing instructions and/or data of a garment on which a respective one of the labels is attached.
