Abstract: A method and apparatus for transferring a weight of a wire fabric to a top rail of a chain link fence is disclosed. The apparatus includes a generally L-shaped or C-shaped frame made up of straight, rectangular bars. Connected to a lower end of a leg of the L-shaped or C-shaped frame is a relatively long, rectangular bar which includes at least one hook. An axle is rigidly connected to an upper portion of the L-shaped or C-shaped frame, and a guide roller is rotatably mounted on the axle.
