  • Publication number: 20230148167
Abstract: An irrigation device includes a hollow element having an at least partially closable opening and having a substantially open and optionally closable annular shape, one end of the hollow element having, at the opening, an outward radial extension to form a counter-curve defining a guiding section with a concavity different from the concavity of the remaining annular element. The device further includes a tubular element inserted or insertable in the hollow part of the annular element and provided with a plurality of openings to enable the dripping of a liquid when such liquid is introduced at one end of the tubular element, the opposite end being closed or closable with a plug or connectable to the first end with a connector.

  • Patent number: 8267115
Abstract: A self-compensated, adjustable fluid emitter includes a casing externally delimiting a volume, which is divided into a first chamber and into a second chamber by a fixed membrane that can be elastically deformed. An inlet communicates with the first chamber and an outlet communicating with the second chamber, causing the first and the second chambers to be in communication one with the other through a communicating duct. In operation, the membrane becomes deformed such that at least a portion thereof changes its position with respect to the outlet, modifying the flow rate of the fluid through the outlet depending on the pressure difference. Therefore, the flow rate of the fluid through the outlet is controlled and kept constant by the membrane in spite of changes in fluid pressure at least at the inlet or the outlet.

  • Patent number: 6945476
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-compensating drip irrigation emitter. A plurality of novel embodiments are provided, wherein the emitter of the invention is capable of always supplying a substantially constant flow within a range of pressures of a fluid flowing in a pipe (3), from very low to very high pressures. Furthermore, the emitter of the invention has such characteristics as to prevent any accidental and undesired clogging thereof by sediments or debris.

  • Patent number: 6896758
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for fabricating a drip irrigation pipe, comprising a pipe (5) wherein a plurality of dripping elements (4) are bound, communicating with the outside through holes formed in the pipe wall. The method according to the invention provides that the pipe (5) is extruded and the individual dripping elements (4) are bound therein by consecutively feeding the dripping elements (4) inside the pipe through the extruding head (1). The speed of the dripping elements (4) is higher than that of the pipe upon extrusion at least in the area of first contact between the pipe and the dripping elements (4). The invention also relates to a plant for implementing said method.

  • Patent number: 6695355
Abstract: A pipe fitting element comprises a tubular fit-in sleeve (1) which can be fitted into an end of a pipe (2) to be connected, and a clamping ring nut (10), coaxial to the sleeve (1). The pipe (2) is arranged to be clamped by tightening the ring nut (10) on the sleeve (1) and translating it towards the pipe (2) while drawing two clamping surfaces (5, 13) mutually closer. One of the surfaces is situated on the outer surface of the sleeve (1) and the other situated on the inner surface of the ring nut (10). These clamping surfaces (5, 13) consist of progressive widening (105, 113) of the outside diameter of the sleeve (1) and of the inside diameter of the end of the ring nut (10) turned towards the pipe (2). A pipe joint, which has at each end a pipe fitting element of the above described type is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5054225
Abstract: A gunslight aiming device which employs various methods of image transmission to allow the user of a weapon to be positioned at various locations spaced from the weapon thereby permitting a wider variety firing positions, faster aiming between firing, and accurate aiming regardless of the relationship between head and aiming eye(s) and weapon. The arrangement provides a transmission mechanism preferably in the form of a flexible fiber optic cable which is coupled to a standard optical sight by a coupling mechanism which conditions the signal for transmission by the flexible optic trunk. The image is again conditioned at a second coupling arrangement for viewing by the user.
