  • Patent number: 11945168
Abstract: In an example, a method includes obtaining object model data describing at least a portion of an object to be generated by additive manufacturing. A color value of a first portion of the object to be generated may be determined, wherein the color value is based on a first color and a second color, different from the first color. Object generation data to generate the object using a fusing agent of the first color and a build material having the second color may be determined by defining a first region of a layer of build material to which fusing agent is to be applied defining a second region of the build material to which detailing agent is to be applied to define an edge of the object and defining a spacing region of build material to separate the first region and second region, wherein the spacing region is defined using parameters selected to provide the color value.

  • Publication number: 20230144471
Abstract: A mask is described comprising a mask body for covering the nose and mouth of a wearer, and a cushion for sealing against the wearer's face. The cushion depends inwardly from the periphery of the mask body. The mask body and the cushion are formed of an elastomeric material, and the mask body is shaped such that, when the mask is worn by the wearer, the mask body flexes about a median plane.

  • Patent number: 10723143
Abstract: A method includes printing an image on substrate by a printhead using ultraviolet (UV) curable ink. The method includes selectively applying a first amount of UV radiation by a first region of a light source to a first area of the image after a first amount of time passes from printing the first area to form a first gloss level area having a glossy finish. The method also includes selectively applying a second amount of UV radiation by a second region of the light source to a second area of the image after a second amount of time passes from printing the second area to form a second gloss level area having a matte finish. At least one of the second amount of UV radiation is greater than the first amount of UV radiation and the first amount of time is greater than the second amount of time.

  • Patent number: 10099496
Abstract: In one example, a carriage to carry a printhead back and forth over a print substrate includes an inboard part to hold the printhead and an outboard part to inhibit the flow of air under the carriage when the carriage is moving back and forth over the print substrate.

  • Publication number: 20180264737
Abstract: According to one example, there is provided a method, in a three-dimensional printing system (100), of determining the thickness of a layer of build material formed on a build platform (104). The method comprises forming a layer of build material (402) on a base having predetermined color characteristics, measuring color characteristics of the deposited layer of build material, and determining, based on the measured color characteristics, the thickness of at least a portion of the formed layer of build material.
