    Abstract: A sunscreen composition comprising one or more sunscreen actives, and at least two film formers is provided. The at least two film formers include an acrylates copolymer and a xanthan gum. The ratio of the acrylates copolymer to the xanthan gum is in a range of about 15:1 to about 1:1. The sunscreen composition provides water-resistant properties and very water-resistant properties after water immersion. The sunscreen composition can be present as a spray, cream, serum, lotion or continuous lotion spray.
