  • Publication number: 20090112144
Abstract: In at least one embodiment, the invention is directed to a method of improving the flow of lymphatic fluid. In one embodiment, the flow of lymphatic fluid is improved by softening fibrotic or scar tissue. The method of improving the flow of lymphatic fluid comprises placing a first layer of open mesh composition/material on the affected area and then placing a second layer over the first layer, where the second layer compresses the first layer so that the first layer forms indentations in, and raised areas or hills on the affected area, thereby massaging the affected area to enhance flow of lymphatic fluid. In one embodiment, massaging the affected area loosens fibrotic tissue, thereby enhancing the flow of lymphatic fluid.
