  • Patent number: 9662130
Abstract: A pair of surgical forceps which can be taken apart and which includes a handle, a pivot joint with a rotational axis and a jaw. It further includes two releasably coupled forceps parts, each of which has a pin-less pivot joint element. The first pivot joint element has a first guide rail and a first guide recess. The second pivot joint element has a second guide rail and a second guide recess. The guide rails, which engage in an undercut of the guide recesses on the pivot joint elements, form a sliding guide for the pivot joint. The first pivot joint element has a first thickening element and the second pivot joint element has a second surface element. In a safety position the first thickening element interacts with the second surface element by means of jamming.

  • Patent number: 9283081
Abstract: A joint prosthesis has a bending hinge, which is formed by a hinge fork and an axle pin, which comprises two axle stubs, which are arranged in an installation position for insertion, in which installation position the axle stubs are retracted in a coupling piece, and in an expanded position after implantation by movement in the axial direction into aligned hinge holes of the hinge fork, wherein the axle pin has two bearing areas at the ends of the axle pin and a joining area lying therebetween, and the axle pin is separated in the joining area along a plane extending in the axial direction, which plane intersects with the jacket of the axle pin at two points.

  • Patent number: 9226829
Abstract: A joint prosthesis comprises a distal component for anchoring to a first bone, a proximal component for anchoring to a second bone, and a coupling piece that, together with the first component, forms a flexion bearing around a first axis and, together with the second component, forms a rotary bearing formed by the pin and the bearing bush around a second axis oriented transversely to the first axis. The rotary bearing comprises a multi-layer bearing insert, having a sliding sleeve surrounding the pin and a support sleeve that encloses said sliding sleeve and is fastened to the coupling piece by means of a securing element, wherein the securing element comprises an actuation unit within the support sleeve and can be connected to the coupling piece such as to ensure tensile strength by means of two aligned bores in the support sleeve and the coupling piece.
