Abstract: A method may be used for treating keratin material, such as human hair, where a cosmetic agent is applied to the keratin material. After an exposure time, the cosmetic agent is rinsed off. The cosmetic agent may include a mixture of organic C1-C6 alkoxy siloxanes, said mixture being obtained by specifically hydrolyzing and precondensing one or more organic C1-C6 alkoxy siloxanes by adding water and catalyst, and where the hydrolysis and precondensation is carried out in the absence of a solvent different from water.

Abstract: An agent for dyeing keratin material, such as human hair, may include at least two organosilicon compounds different from each other. Each organosilicon compound may be independently selected from silanes with one, two, or three silicon atoms, and the organosilicon compound may include one or more hydroxyl groups and/or hydrolyzable groups per molecule. The agent may include at least one pigment, and at least one fatty component that is liquid at 20° C. and/or an organic solvent. The agent may be used for dyeing keratin material.

Abstract: A process for preparing a cosmetic composition useful for treating keratinous material, in particular human hair, is disclosed. The process comprises preparing a first agent (A) by reacting one or more aminoalkyl-C1-C6 alkoxysilanes (a1) with water (a2), preparing a second agent (B) by reacting one or more alkyl-C1-C6 alkoxysilanes (b1) with water (b2), and mixing together the first agent (A) and the second agent (B), thereby preparing the cosmetic composition. A cosmetic composition prepared by the process, as well as a method of using the cosmetic composition for treating keratinous material (e.g. coloring human hair) are also disclosed.

Abstract: Raw materials that constitute reaction products of two compounds (1) and (2) having the general formulas (1) and (2), wherein the first compound (1) having the general formula (1): R1—(CH2)a—(CHR2)b—(CR32)c—(CHR4)d—(CH2)e—R5, and the second compound (2) has the general formula (2): Y-A-Si(OR1)r(R2)3-r, exhibit anti-wrinkle properties. They are used in laundry detergents, fabric softeners or textile treatment compositions that are applied to the textile outside a washing machine or a dryer.
