Abstract: The present invention relates to a tampon-applicator assembly for sanitary application of a tampon. The assembly comprises a tampon having a front end and a rear end, a flexible tubular sheath, and a sleeve. The flexible tubular sheath has a closed rear end, and encloses the tampon such that the rear end of the tampon is directed towards the closed rear end of the sheath, and the sleeve has a front end and a rear end and a longitudinal extension along the tampon and wherein the sleeve is arranged on the outside of the flexible tubular sheath along at least a part of the longitudinal extension of the tampon, whereby at least a portion of the sheath, when a pressing force is applied to the rear end of the sheath towards the front end of the tampon, is arranged to be turned in side out while the tampon is pushed at least partially out of the sleeve. The resent invention further relates to a method of production of the assembly, and the use of the assembly.
