Abstract: A pill dispenser for releasably holding a collection of pills. The dispenser having a base plate and a cover rotatably mounted relative to the base plate. The collection of pills are housed individually in compartments in the holding means and an aperture allows for selective release of the pills. At least one notch is provided and travels along a toothed circular guide path when the cover is rotated. An baffle extends inwardly from the aperture in the direction of the compartments of the holding means and prevents rotation past pills in a compartment without removing the pill next in sequence from its holder so that no pills may be skipped.
