Patents by Inventor Caroline Le-Pierrard

Caroline Le-Pierrard has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20070101794
Abstract: A rotating anode is mounted on a shaft of an X-ray tube by means of a ring. The ring allows expansion and reduces the hyperstatic state of the assembly. The ring has the shape of a diabolo, preferably that of a hyperboloid structure generated by revolution. The ring dampens vibration phenomena in a shaft bearing the rotating anode and reduces noise-creating phenomena.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 30, 2006
    Publication date: May 10, 2007
Inventors: Xavier Lacherade, Caroline Le-Pierrard, Jean-Luc Josse
  • Patent number: 7197114
Abstract: An X-ray emitter and an X-ray apparatus and method of manufacturing an x-ray emitter. The emitter has an anode, a cathode, and a vacuum evacuated body in which the anode and the cathode are placed. The body has an opening and a high-voltage connector placed in the opening, the connector closing off the opening in a vacuum-tight manner, thereby subjecting the connector to a vacuum on one side of the cathode and to ambient air on an opposite side.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 23, 2003
Date of Patent: March 27, 2007
Assignee: GE Medical Systems Global Technology Company, LLC
Inventors: Caroline Le-Pierrard, Yves Serughetti, Joel Beudard
