  • Patent number: 10201250
Abstract: A container assembly includes a thermoformed tub of relatively thin plastic material having a peripheral wall extending to an upper edge and defining a product containing space. A lower rim is connected to the upper edge of the tub, the lower rim defining an opening giving access to the product containing space and being formed of a relatively thicker plastic material. An upper rim is connectable to the lower rim and a lid is provided for selectively closing the opening. By the use of a thin walled thermoformed tub, the amount of material required for forming the body of the container is limited. Furthermore, the lower rim of relatively thicker plastic material provides the required support to the relatively thin material of the peripheral wall, allowing effective connection to the upper rim.

  • Patent number: 10079979
Abstract: The invention relates to a camera arrangement for a vehicle, comprising a camera (12), wherein by means of the camera arrangement a brightness of the surroundings of the camera is determinable. The camera arrangement comprises a storage device (38) in which is stored at least one brightness reference value (34) capturable by the camera. This reference value (34) is correlated with a corresponding value (36) indicative of a photometric quantity measurable by means of a photometer (14) at this brightness. An evaluation unit of the camera arrangement is designed for comparing a brightness value determined by the camera with the brightness reference value (34). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for calibrating a camera (12) and for operating a camera arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9810692
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of assessing, predicting or monitoring the sensitivity of a subject having a tumor or cancer to an immunotherapeutic molecule acting on the subject's T cells, to a method of selecting an appropriate treatment of cancer, to a method of screening or identifying a compound suitable for improving the treatment of a cancer, and to the use of corresponding kits. The method of predicting or monitoring the sensitivity of a subject having a tumor to an immunotherapeutic molecule acting on the subject's T cells typically comprises a step a) of determining, in a biological sample from said subject, the expression level of soluble CD25 (sCD25) and, when the expression level is determined, a step b) of comparing at least said expression level to a reference expression level, thereby assessing whether the subject having a tumor is responsive or resistant to the immunotherapeutic molecule.

  • Patent number: 9649973
Abstract: A method and system for correcting an inclination of headlights of a motor vehicle based on measurements of accelerations of the vehicle supplied by a sensor borne by the motor vehicle. The method and system comprises a step of computing a variation of inclination of the vehicle between a first distinct instant and a second distinct instant defining a duration during which the motor vehicle registers a single stoppage followed by a restart, as a function of the measurements of accelerations, and a step of controlling the inclination of the headlights as a function of a computed variation of inclination of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9524438
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle (10) with at least one camera (16), by means of which at least one image area of a surrounding of the vehicle (10) is capturable, the image area comprising a plurality of pixels and being arranged obliquely above a vehicle front as viewed in the direction of travel of the vehicle (10), and with a tunnel detection device (44) designed for determining an average brightness of the at least one image area. The tunnel detection device (44) comprises a device (46) for feature or edge detection, by means of which differences in the brightness of pixels differing from each other are capturable and thus features characterized by abrupt changes in brightness are detectable in the at least one image area.
