Abstract: A user selection of one or more nodes of a hierarchical data structure is received. A plurality of available tokens associated with the one or more selected nodes based at least in part on metadata associated with the plurality of elements is determined. A plurality of character lengths corresponding to the plurality of available tokens is determined. A user input of content for a field in a template is received where the field is associated with a character count limit and the user input comprising at least one of the determined plurality of available tokens. A character count associated with the user input is dynamically updated. A plurality of documents is to be composed where the plurality of documents corresponds to the plurality of elements associated with the one or more selected nodes.
