    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for monitoring incontinence events using inexpensive sensors coupled to an incontinence brief worn by a patient. In some examples of the disclosed technology, a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is queried to return a sensor value indicating a level of moisture in an incontinence brief. A mobile device carried by a patient caregiver analyzes the sensor value and provides a display indicating a course of action to take, for example, whether to change the patient's incontinence brief.
