Patents by Inventor Carrie R. Graveel

Carrie R. Graveel has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 7220844
Abstract: Novel polypeptides and nucleic acids that encode the polypeptides are disclosed. The polypeptides and nucleic acids are differentially expressed in liver tumors relative to expression in normal liver tissues. In humans, the nucleic acid sequence maps to a region of chromosome 9p.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 14, 2001
Date of Patent: May 22, 2007
    Assignee: Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation
Inventors: Peggy J. Farnham, Carrie R. Graveel
  • Patent number: 7129328
Abstract: Polypeptides whose expression is upregulated in liver tumor cells and cells from liver preneoplastic foci relative to expression in normal liver cells are disclosed as are polynucleotides that encode the polypeptides. In humans, the polynucleotide maps to a region of chromosome 15. The overexpression has also been confirmed in human liver, breast, colon and kidney cancer cell lines. It is believed that the polypeptides are overexpressed in tumor and preneoplastic cells in general.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 16, 2003
Date of Patent: October 31, 2006
    Assignee: Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation
Inventors: Peggy J. Farnham, Carrie R. Graveel, Sarah R. Harkins-Perry
