  • Patent number: 8505228
Abstract: A sighting device for a firearm accessory includes a first coupling member, a second coupling member, and a multiple rail arrangement. The first coupling member is supported on an upper half portion of the firearm accessory. The second coupling member is supported on a lower half portion of the firearm accessory, and includes an elongated coupling slot formed thereon to detachably engage with a firearm rail of the firearm. The multiple rail arrangement includes a plurality of mounting rails formed on the first coupling member and the second coupling member, wherein the mounting rails allow the firearm accessory to be mounted onto at least one additional firearm accessory so as to eliminate a need to individually attach the additional firearm accessory to the firearm.

  • Publication number: 20120311913
Abstract: A telescopic sighting device includes a tubular scope, an objective lens, an ocular assembly, and a laser locator. The objective lens is mounted at a bell portion of the tubular scope for focusing light at a focal point in the body portion of the tubular scope. The ocular assembly is provided at an eyepiece portion of the tubular scope for magnifying the light from focused at the focal point. Furthermore, the laser locator is mounted at the bell portion of the tubular scope at a position adjacent to the objective lens, and comprises a laser emitter arranged to generate a laser beam toward a target, in such a manner that a user is able to observe a laser indicator produced by the laser beam on the target through the ocular assembly so as to enhance an accuracy of locating the target by the telescopic sighting device.

  • Publication number: 20110167708
Abstract: An apparatus for laser sighting comprising a laser and a scope with a reticle, where the laser and scope are coupled together to form a single integrated unit. The laser and the reticle are powered by a single power source and illumination of the laser and reticle is controlled by a single controller, such as a rheostat knob. The rheostat knob provides at least four settings, a first setting turns the laser and the reticle off, a second setting turns the laser on and the reticle off, a third setting turns the laser and the reticle on, and a fourth setting turns the laser off and the reticle on. Additional settings turn the laser off and the reticle on, and the reticle is illuminated to greater degrees of brightness. The integrated laser and scope sighting apparatus is mountable to the rail of an object, such as a weapon.
