    Abstract: This disclosure provides various embodiments for performing operations on entities of a meta model modeling one or more software components. A request is received to perform a particular operation of a particular type on each of a plurality of model entities, each model entity modeling at least one attribute of a software component. The request includes an identification of the particular type of operation in a plurality of operation types. The model entities are retrieved in response to the request. A handler object is instantiated of the particular type adapted to perform the particular operation by calling a set of reusable software modules, each software module providing functionality used to perform at least a portion of the particular operation on at least one entity in the plurality of entities. Result data is generated based on the performance of the particular operation using the instantiated handler and reusable software modules.

The particular UI model represents attributes of a particular user interface accessed by the UI development tool. The particular UI model is parsed to determine that at least one attribute of the particular user interface violates at least one UI style guide rule. Results are presented in a user interface of the UI development tool, the presentation indicating that the particular attribute of the particular user interface violates the UI style guide rule.

The worm comprises a toothed section that is threadably engaged with a toothed section of an oppositely oriented toothed segment lever that is connected to the particular device requiring adjustment. The locking region may comprise a circumferential groove near an end portion of the worm and the locking element may comprise a slide configured to accommodate frictional engagement with the groove. The locking region may comprise the front faces of the toothed section of the worm frictionally engaged by a slide. A second locking region may comprise front faces adjacent to ends of the worm frictionally engaged by edge portions of the housing upon radial displacement of the worm by activation of the slide.

    Abstract: A displacement device for use with windows and sliding roof for motor vehicles includes a toothed rack disposed within the vehicle in a direction parallel to the displacement direction. A motor-gear housing is positioned adjacent the toothed rack and includes an electrical driver, a central shaft positioned perpendicular to the rack, and a pinion gear on the shaft that is engaged with the toothed portion of the rack. The rack and housing include guide surfaces that are positioned to correspond with one another. A guidance element is attached to the housing and the rack is interposed between the guide surfaces of the housing and the guidance element to control and guide the movement of the housing vis-a-vis the rack during activation of the electrical drive. Attachments extend from the housing and are configured to accommodate placement of an edge portion of a window therein.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for fastening a window of a motor vehicle in the guide device of a window lifter, consisting of retaining legs disposed on opposite sides of the lower area of the window, at least one of said retaining legs having an opening which can be engaged by a connecting element for retaining the window, wherein at least one upper part of at least one retaining leg is embodied to be resilient and supports an insertion section oriented in the direction of the lower edge of the window and essentially extending parallel with it. One feature of the invention is that the opening can comprise two cutouts, instead of one, in order to reduce the number of variations of catches required for use with window lifters. Another feature of the invention is that a connecting element for retaining the window in the guide device of a window lifter is already connected with the window prior to the window's insertion into the gap between the retaining legs.
