  • Publication number: 20240018789
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a panel comprising: a panel body extending in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction; a retaining groove extending in the transverse direction in an end short side of the panel body; and a locking element which is inserted in the retaining groove substantially immovably, wherein, for an extension bo of the retaining groove in the transverse direction relative to a nominal width B of the panel body between a first edge extending in the longitudinal direction and a second edge of the panel body extending in the longitudinal direction, the following applies: 0.50?b0/B?0.97, in particular 0.75?b0/B?0.95, preferably 0.85?B0/B?0.93 and particularly preferably b0/B=0.90±0.02. An unbreakable and leak-proof panel having good and material-friendly locking is made possible by the retaining groove which extends over only a large portion of the short side and by the locking element immovably received in the retaining groove.

  • Publication number: 20230349163
Abstract: A panel including a core, a top side, an underside, a first edge pair and a second edge pair. The first edge pair has a groove profile at a panel edge and a complementary tongue profile at the opposite panel edge, which are lockable by a pivotal movement so that in the locked state vertical locking is achieved and movement of locked panels away from each other in the plane of the panels is opposed. At its opposite panel edges the second edge pair has a receiving hook and a complementary arresting hook. The arresting hook can be assembled to the receiving hook by a joining movement in a plane perpendicular to the panel plane simultaneously by the pivotal movement for the first edge pair. The receiving hook or the arresting hook has a holding groove for a separate locking element that provides vertical locking. A butting surface and a counterpart butting surface are provided at least at the second edge pair.

  • Publication number: 20220356716
Abstract: A panel including a core, a top side, an underside, a first edge pair and a second edge pair. The first edge pair has a groove profile at a panel edge and a complementary tongue profile at the opposite panel edge, which are lockable by a pivotal movement and positively lock so that movement of locked panels away from each other in the plane of the panels is opposed. At its opposite panel edges the second edge pair has a complementary receiving hook and an arresting hook. The arresting hook is assembled to the receiving hook by a joining movement in a plane perpendicular to the panel plane by the pivotal movement for the first edge pair. The receiving hook or the arresting hook has a holding groove for a separate locking element that provides vertical locking. A butting surface is arranged at the receiving hook substantially orthogonal to the top side. The arresting hook has a counterpart butting surface substantially orthogonal to the top side.

  • Patent number: 11359381
Abstract: A panel having a panel surface and an edge pair of mutually opposite complementary panel edges provided with complementary locking elements. The complementary locking elements are configured such that, when two panels are assembled, both a locking action of the panel edges in a direction perpendicular to the panel surface and a locking action preventing the panels from moving apart is achieved underneath a visible joint by the assembled complementary locking elements. The panel edges with the locking elements have an upper portion and a lower portion, relative to thickness of the panel. The locking elements are arranged and configured in the lower portion. The upper portion forms the upper joint region, including the visible part of the joint. The upper portion on each panel edge of the edge pair has a chamfer which, when two panels are assembled, forms a depressed joint. The chamfers of the complementary panel edges are different sizes in the upper portion.
