  • Publication number: 20220312810
Abstract: A method to create a shredded jackfruit product is described and includes: pre-heating a mixer or tumbler; adding dried shredded jackfruit to the mixer or tumbler; adding a hot brine to the mixer or tumbler; sealing the mixer or tumbler; placing the mixer or tumbler in a vacuum; and tumbling the tumbler at a rate for a time period until the hot brine is absorbed in the dried shredded jackfruit to form a final shredded jackfruit product. A method to create a minced product from shredded jackfruit is also described and includes: chilling shredded jackfruit to a temperature; transferring the chilled shredded jackfruit to a grinder; grinding the chilled shredded jackfruit; preparing a binding agent emulsion using a device; and preparing a minced product.

  • Patent number: 9834774
Abstract: Provided herein are methods for assembling DNA fragments employing at least three enzymatic activities: DNA polymerase, flap endonuclease, and DNA ligase. Certain aspects include methods for generating closed circular DNA products, e.g., plasmid vectors, by assembling various DNA fragments having complementary ends that hybridize to one another. The resulting circular products can be introduced into host cells and selected for desired properties. Kits for performing the method are also provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 11, 2015
Date of Patent: December 5, 2017
    Assignee: Agilent Technologies, Inc.
    Inventor: Carsten Carstens
  • Patent number: 9416407
Abstract: A method of sample analysis is provided. In certain embodiments, the method may comprise: a) contacting under primer extension conditions a genomic sample comprising a test genome with a set of at least ten sequence-specific primers that are complementary to sites in only one strand of a reference chromosomal region, to produce primer extension products, and b) analyzing the primer extension products to identify a chromosomal rearrangement in the test genome.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 1, 2008
Date of Patent: August 16, 2016
    Assignee: Agilent Technologies, Inc.
