  • Patent number: 11557939
Abstract: An electric drive for a motor vehicle, in particular a fan drive, comprising an electric motor that includes a rotor which is mounted on a motor shaft so as to be able to rotate about a stationary stator as well as a driving part which is coupled to the rotor, and at least one electroconductive cover part for influencing and/or blocking interfering electromagnetic fields generated during operation of the electric motor.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 26, 2018
Date of Patent: January 17, 2023
Assignee: Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft, Würzburg

  • Patent number: 9267960
Abstract: A measurement arrangement for a shaft mounted in a bearing. The measurement arrangement has a magnetic coding and a receiver. The receiver detects a change of the magnetic field of the magnetic coding when the mounted shaft is subjected to mechanical stress. The measurement arrangement is used in conjunction with a shaft mounted in a rolling or sliding bearing. The magnetic coding is disposed at a front end of a bearing component. Also, a rolling bearing and a bearing ring and a seal are disclosed.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 23, 2016
Assignee: Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG
    Inventor: Carsten Duppe
  • Patent number: 8330455
Abstract: A sensor arrangement for a shaft that is mounted in a magnetic bearing. The arrangement has magnetic shielding which shields the magnetic bearing by forming a magnetically shielded area, magnetic encoding that is situated on the shaft in the magnetically shielded area and at least one receiver that detects at least one alteration of the magnetic field of the magnetic encoding. The aforementioned sensor arrangement for a shaft that is mounted in a magnetic bearing permits the an arrangement of this type that uses magnetic encoding of the shaft to detect the position of the shaft in the closest proximity possible to the magnetic bearing.

  • Publication number: 20100303400
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting the load on a rolling bearing which has at least one bearing ring. The apparatus has a transmitter for electromagnetic radiation, and a receiver for the radiation emitted by the transmitter. A space-saving and simple apparatus for detecting the load on the bearing ring of the bearing is achieved, by virtue of the fact that an optical waveguide is provided, into which the transmitter couples the electromagnetic radiation, and by virtue of the fact that the optical waveguide is arranged on a surface of the at least one bearing ring, and by virtue of the fact that the at least one bearing ring is in the region of an evanescent field coming from the optical waveguide. Also, a rolling bearing, which has at least one bearing ring with an apparatus for detecting the load on the at least one bearing ring is disclosed.
