Abstract: Devices for optimizing occurring environmentally specific loads, i.e., forces and moments of reflecting and absorbing solar collectors and module groups composed thereof. The construction is a combination of the device according to the invention for optimizing individual solar collector modules and assembled groups of collector modules and corresponding modules themselves. The devices act in the entire operation area by influencing and optimizing the flow around the individual solar collector modules and assembled groups of collector modules and accordingly leads to lower static loads and dynamic loads and, therefore, to increased efficiencies.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a device (1) for protecting and for optimizing solar modules against wind and particles carried along in or by the wind, wherein the device comprises one or more partial bodies which are preferably constructed as flat or profiled panels/flaps, wherein a partial body is secured, preferably rotatably secured, by one or more fastening points (2) directly or, by means of an auxiliary device (3), directly or indirectly to the absorbing and/or reflecting solar module, and, for example, the at least one partial body is to be moved along or moved, respectively, in the operation area of the solar module in a uniform or non-uniform manner with respect to the system's own movement and accordingly protects and/or stabilizes the operation of the solar module actively and reactively with respect to the static and/or dynamic influence of the wind.
