The movable part (3) is movably attached to the housing (2), such that it can be moved between a compact position and an extended position. The electronic device comprises a switch, which is adapted to sense, whether the movable part (3) is in the compact position or not, and the switch is utilized to switch the electronic device (1) On, when the movable part (3) is in the extended position, and Off, when the movable part (3) is in the compact position. The electronics of the device (1) is adapted to be set to off or into a low-power shipping mode, all though the movable part (3) is in the extended position.
