  • Publication number: 20230072757
Abstract: A belt fitting for a safety belt device, having a base section and a latch plate projecting from same. The base section has a belt eyelet with a belt strap running surface, which is in sliding contact with a belt strap guided through the belt eyelet when the safety belt is being worn, wherein, in the transverse direction of the belt strap, the belt strap running surface transitions on both sides at lateral corner regions into a belt eyelet edge opposite the belt strap running surface. The belt strap running surface has a surface contour which provides stable transverse guidance of the belt strap in the belt eyelet under loading conditions, which counteracts a transverse load component acting on the belt strap. A displacement body is formed on the belt eyelet edge-opposite the belt strap running surface, which reduces a gap width of the belt eyelet.

  • Patent number: 11192520
Abstract: A seat belt device for a vehicle seat, having a seat belt, the belt tongue of which in an engaged state is releasably connected to a seat-side belt buckle. The belt buckle is guided via at least one wire rope through a sleeve-like deflection element, which defines the course of the wire rope between its connection point on the seat side and its connection point on the belt buckle side. The sleeve-like deflection element has a predetermined deformation point, at which the deflection element is deformed in the event of a head-on collision, more specifically with the belt buckle being displaced from its use position into a crash position in which the tilt or twist moments acting on the belt buckle are reduced.

  • Patent number: 11052866
Abstract: A safety belt device for a vehicle, having a belt force limiting unit and a safety belt buckle that interacts therewith, through which buckle a wire cable loop is passed that transitions into wire cable segments that are passed out of the safety belt buckle and extend to a cable deflection element at which they are deflected about at least one deflection axis in the direction toward the belt force limiting unit, wherein the safety belt buckle is rotated about a safety belt buckle axis such that the wire cable loop passed through the safety belt buckle is oriented with its loop opening open in the axial direction with respect to the deflection axis.

  • Patent number: 11021131
Abstract: A safety belt arrangement for a vehicle, with a belt force limiting unit which is constructed as a piston/cylinder assembly having a piston tube and a piston, which in the event of the belt force being limited is displaceable by a force limiting path in the piston tube, while expanding and plastically deforming the latter, whereby the belt force exerted on a vehicle occupant is limited to a predefined level of force. According to the invention, at least one tube element, which can be pushed telescopically onto the piston tube to form a double tube structure, is provided for setting the force level course over the force limiting path.

  • Patent number: 9821757
Abstract: A belt fitting for a safety belt device in a vehicle that includes a base segment and an insertion tongue connected thereto, in which base segment a belt eye is provided, through which a belt webbing is guided and divides the belt webbing into a shoulder belt segment and a lap belt segment when the safety belt is worn. The belt fitting has a clamping element movable between a release position, such that the belt webbing is freely movable in sliding contact over at least one belt running surface, and a clamping position, in which the belt webbing is tightly clamped between a clamping stop on the base segment and the clamping element in the event of a load or crash. The belt running surface of the belt fitting has a surface contour, which ensures stable transverse guidance of the belt webbing in the event of a load.
