  • Publication number: 20230301804
Abstract: The invention relates to a prosthetic foot with a foot part 2 and a lower leg part 4 that is connected to the foot part 2 such that it can be pivoted about a pivot axis 6 and that can be locked in various pivot angles relative to the foot part 2, the connection between the lower leg part 4 and the foot part 2 having a clearance in the pivot direction when the foot part 2 is locked on the lower leg part 4, the prosthetic foot having at least one friction element 14 arranged between the foot part 2 and the lower leg part 4 and applying a frictional torque that counteracts a pivoting of the foot part 2 relative to the lower leg part 4 when the foot part 2 is locked relative to the lower leg part 4.

  • Patent number: 11590005
Abstract: A method for connecting at least two structural parts of an orthopedic component, wherein the structural parts are retained in an orienting device while oriented in relation to each other, and an intermediate space thus being formed between the structural parts. The orienting device and the structural parts together form a cavity, which has a flow connection to at least one feed connection, via which an adhesive for adhesively bonding the structural parts is introduced into the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20220304832
Abstract: The invention relates to an orthopedic device with an energy storage device 2 that comprises at least one cylinder 4, in which a first cylinder chamber 6, a second cylinder chamber 8, which is fluidically connected to the first cylinder chamber 6 by at least one fluid line 14, and a piston 10 are located, wherein the piston 10 is arranged relative to the cylinder 4 such that it can be displaced in such a way that by displacing the piston 4, an operating medium, which is a fluid, is conveyed through the at least one fluid line 14 from one cylinder chamber 6, 8 into the other cylinder chamber 8, 6, wherein the energy storage device 2 has at least one compensation volume 24, which is fluidically connected to the fluid line 14 via a fluid connection 22, and a first controllable valve 26, by means of which the fluid connection 22 can be opened and closed.

  • Patent number: 10881533
Abstract: A prosthetic foot with a structural component having a proximal attachment member for fastening the prosthetic foot to a below-knee tube, a below-knee shaft or a prosthetic knee joint, with a forefoot portion secured or formed on the structural component, and with a heel-side spring-damper system which is assigned to the structural component and which is compressed at a heel strike and bears on a sole-side guide element. The structural component is designed as a leaf spring which extends in a posterior direction from the proximal attachment means, and forms an arch and is guided in an anterior and distal direction, wherein the arch protrudes posteriorly beyond the guide element.

  • Patent number: 10299942
Abstract: A prosthetic foot insert with upper attachment member, a roof spring extending forwards from the upper attachment means, and a base spring coupled to the roof spring at least two points. A rear coupling element is provided for supporting the base spring, and a free space is formed between the coupling element, the roof spring and the base spring. The base spring, in the heel area, protrudes rearwards as a free lever beyond the rear coupling element.

  • Publication number: 20190125552
Abstract: A prosthetic foot includes a base spring, a top spring assembly, a connector assembly, and a heel cushion. The top spring assembly includes first and second spring members, and first and second bond connections. The second spring member extends parallel with and spaced apart from the first spring member. The first bond connection is between distal ends of the first and second spring members, and the second bond connection is between a distal end of the second spring member and a top surface of the base spring. The top spring assembly has a first portion arranged horizontally, and a second portion arranged vertically. The connector is connected to a proximal end of the top spring assembly to connect the prosthetic foot to a lower limb prosthesis. The heel cushion is mounted to the base spring at a location spaced forward of a heel end of the base spring.
