  • Publication number: 20190346010
Abstract: A failure state of a torsional vibration damper is analyzed by means of an acoustic sensor. The acoustic sensor may be present in the vehicle for other reasons, such as a knock sensor of a gasoline engine or an injection sensor of a diesel engine. Fault images of the torsional vibration damper are determined for specified operating points of the vehicle during vehicle operation. The fault monitoring can be carried out easily while the vehicle is being driven and replaces a visual check in the workshop.

  • Publication number: 20130276897
Abstract: A method for regulating an actuator or valve, wherein to execute a regulating function of the actuator or a valve function of the valve an actuating pulse is used, which is fed to the actuator or valve, characterized in that between at least two consecutive actuating pulses at least one additional pulse or a stochastic signal is fed to the actuator or valve.

  • Patent number: 7736752
Abstract: A wire, strip or reshaped part is produced from an alloy based on platinum, palladium or a mixture of platinum and palladium and hardened by oxide dispersion. The wire, strip or reshaped part cross-section exhibits a peripheral zone in which at least one relatively easily volatilized oxide generator is depleted by at least 25%. In addition, a process is provided for production of such a wire, strip or reshaped part, in which a porous skin is produced thermally on the wire, strip or reshaped part, and the porous skin is compacted by conversion into a soft or impermeable skin.

  • Patent number: 7373235
Abstract: An automatic friction clutch, contained in the drive train of a motor vehicle is controlled such that a preset clutch torque can be transmitted. The preset clutch torque is composed of a pilot clutch torque M and a clutch torque Msr, which is dependent on slip.
