    Abstract: The hearing aid comprises a casing element enclosing electronic components and a battery drawer hingedly connected to the casing element for pivotal movement with respect to the casing element. Bushings in the casing element corresponding to seats in the battery drawer are provided coaxially with the desired pivotal axle and a metal hinge pin is provided coaxially with the desired pivotal axle and extends centrally through holes in the bushings, the battery drawer and the casing parts.
