  • Publication number: 20240159666
Abstract: A method for measuring at least one of a mass-specific or size-specific variable of grain crops, the method comprising the following steps: recording a spectrum of the grain crops with a sensor operating in the near-infrared range; and deriving the at least one of mass-specific or size-specific variable from the spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20230345875
Abstract: A method for measuring grain on a harvesting machine for harvesting cereals comprising: acquiring an image of the grain in the harvesting machine using a camera; and processing the image in an image processing system and generating an output value in respect of properties of the grain, wherein the output value contains information relating to at least one of the following quantities per unit area of the field: grain count, grain dimensions, and grain mass.

  • Patent number: 10701926
Abstract: A method for controlling unwanted organisms on a field includes providing an electronic map with expected locations of unwanted organisms in the field entered in georeferenced form and a machine with a supply of agent for treating the unwanted organisms and an output device for controllably applying the agent. The method further includes traversing the field with the machine for application of the agent for controlling the unwanted organisms from the output device, detecting organisms in the field by a sensor on the machine during the traversing step, using the map to controllably guide the machine along the field to the location of unwanted organisms, and controlling the output device to disperse the agent on the field when the sensor detects unwanted organisms.

  • Patent number: 8827058
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for providing a vehicle, in particular a track bound vehicle, with electric energy, wherein the arrangement comprises a receiving device (200) adapted to receive an alternating electromagnetic field and to produce an alternating electric current by electromagnetic induction. The receiving device (200) comprises a plurality of windings and/or coils (9, 10, 11) of electrically conducting material, wherein each winding or coil (9, 10, 11) is adapted to produce a separate phase of the alternating electric current.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 17, 2009
Date of Patent: September 9, 2014
    Assignee: Bombardier Transportation GmbH
Inventors: Kurt Vollenwyder, Jürgen Meins, Carsten Struve
  • Patent number: 8590682
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for transferring electric energy to a track bound vehicle, in particular to a light rail vehicle, such as a tram, wherein the system comprises an electric conductor arrangement (12) for producing an electromagnetic field and for thereby transferring the energy to the vehicle, the electric conductor arrangement (12) comprises at least one line (1, 2, 3) for carrying one phase of an alternating voltage or current, the line (1, 2, 3) extends along the track, the line (1, 2, 3) is arranged in such a manner that it produces—at each point in time while the alternating electric current is flowing through the line (1, 2, 3)—a row of successive magnetic poles (at sections 5) of an electromagnetic field, wherein the successive magnetic poles have alternating magnetic polarities, the row of successive magnetic poles extends in the travel direction of the vehicle which is defined by the track.
