  • Patent number: 11270731
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for compressing drive curves for scanning devices and corresponding computer programs are provided. In this case, a drive curve is decomposed into segments. Segments which are not yet present in a library are stored in the library. Moreover, for each segment a pointer to a corresponding segment in the library is stored in a list.

  • Patent number: 11036038
Abstract: The invention is based on the object of providing a particularly reliable closed-loop control for a scanner. According to various examples, this object is achieved by an analysis of a system deviation in the frequency space. By way of example, an input signal, which is indicative of a time dependence of the system deviation between an ACTUAL pose and a TARGET pose of a deflection unit of the scanner, can be expanded into a multiplicity of error components and a plurality of frequencies. Then, a corresponding correction signal component can be determined for each of the multiplicity of error components. By way of example, such techniques can be used in a laser scanning microscope.

  • Patent number: 10791306
Abstract: The control unit of a projector drives modulators for the range of brightness of the image data with a first resolution of NN levels, wherein NN is an integer greater than one. The control unit applies a predefined brightness change to the brightness value in accordance with the image data for the image point such that a changed brightness value having a second resolution, which is greater than the first resolution, is calculated, and converts the changed brightness value into the increased brightness value such that it has the first resolution and is greater than a notional comparison value having the first resolution that arises if the predefined brightness change is applied to the brightness value in accordance with the image data, with the result that the control unit drives one of the modulators for a pixel to be boosted with the increased brightness value having the first resolution.

  • Publication number: 20170102533
Abstract: An image correction method is provided in which, in order to capture images, a scanning beam is guided over an object plane by a beam-directing element, and at detection times a brightness value of a detection signal of an object location scanned at the respective detection time is detected in the object plane, wherein actual positions of the beam-directing element and the positions of the object locations which are associated with the actual positions are known at every detection time. A pixel array with known positions of each pixel of the pixel array is defined in the object plane, a number of pixels adjacent to the object location is acquired, and the brightness value which is detected at an object location is assigned proportionally to the adjacent pixels of the object location as brightness value portions. Also provided is a microscope designed to carry out the image correction method.
