    Abstract: The present invention provides for a method and apparatus for purifying carbon dioxide. Sulfur species and other impurities are removed from the carbon dioxide by a series of steps which include heater means, impurity adsorption means and catalysis means. Economical on-site analytical capabilities are also provided for by concentrating the impurities prior to their analysis.
