Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method are provided for adaptively controlling communication activity of a communication system. The method stores user information comprising contact preferences, a goal, and account information. The system may receive external information by a trigger engine which applies a trigger rule to determine a degree of relatedness between the goal and at least one of external information and the account information. When the degree of relatedness exceeds a threshold, then the contact preferences may be used to format a communication related to the external information based on the contact preferences. The system may then send the communication to the user by the communication entity according to the contact preferences, and, based on a feedback or lack of feedback from the user related to the communication, adjust at least one of the contact preferences, the trigger rule, or a weighting factor of the trigger rule.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method are provided for preparing and transmitting an education content module to a user. The method comprises receiving educational information and processing the educational information to produce an education content module that is tagged based on its content with a content engine. The tagged module is stored in an educational content module database in a memory of the system. The following preferences are determined and stored: a user packaging preference for packaging of the education content module, a user delivery preference for delivering the education content module, and an educational interest preference for locating educational information. Responsive to a trigger criterion associated with the user being met, contents of the education content module are formatted into a formatted education content module according to the user packaging preference, and sent to the user via the network interface according to the user delivery preference.

Abstract: A system and related method provide items of interest to a user for modifying a current user collection of items and then modify the collection. User profile information is received from a user associated with the current user collection and then parsed into a plurality of user factors. A user factor weight is assigned for each of the user factors, and these are stored in a user profile memory. Element provider profile information associated with element provider profiles is received and parsed into element provider factors. Each of these are assigned a weight, and they are stored in an element provider profile memory. A matching score is determined between the user profile and a first element provider profile. An identifier of this provider and its matching score is output to the user. The current user collection is then modified to include an element related to a selected element provider.
