Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides an integrated system of gathering and analyzing inventory data in real-time using a hand-held scanner in communication with a network, database, and user interface. The hand-held scanner could be remotely accessed and updated using a wireless connection and thus improving efficiency and minimizing downtime. The integrated system thus allows data collected by the hand-held scanner to be queried, analyzed, and aggregated to assess various inventory related issues including, for example, inventory levels, projected sales figures, and reordering information in real-time.
