  • Patent number: 10248736
Abstract: A method of managing data in a telecommunication network data structure is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by a translation application executing on a telecommunication network computer system, a request to translate source data stored in a source data structure to a target data structure; identifying, by way of information stored in a taxonomy repository, a data store key within the source data; a category of an element of the source data; inferring, by way of information stored in the taxonomy repository a relationship between the data store key and the element; converting, by the translation application, a format of the data store key to a format of a target data store key, and a format of the element to a format of a target element. The method further comprises storing, by the translation application, the target data store key and the target element in the target data structure.

  • Patent number: 9274753
Abstract: A system for an application diagram is provided. The system includes a technology roadmap database, an application database, a project database, a processor, an analysis module, and a user interface. The technology roadmap database contains technology roadmap information defining a technology roadmap. The application database contains configuration information about applications. The configuration information identifies the technology resources allocated to each application. The project database contains project information, which identifies any project impact on each application. The processor executes the analysis module to analyze the technology roadmap information, the configuration information, and the project information and to create the application diagram for a selected project. The application diagram organizes applications within enterprise functional areas and presents any changes planned for the selected project.

  • Patent number: 7904320
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for determining an effective strategy for growth and development of an enterprise that balances corporate goals and objectives with the technological challenges of providing solutions across the enterprise. A business capability roadmap (BCR) may be developed to express how capabilities derived from corporate strategy may be enabled in terms of people, process, and/or technology solutions as a time sequenced chain of activities. As the BCR solutions are developed, synergies and constraints with existing solutions, solutions under development, and solutions that are planned to be developed across the enterprise may be considered. Developing a BCR in terms of business capabilities provides abstraction of concrete assets that enables high level planning in terms that may be understood by both corporate and technology leadership within the enterprise.

  • Patent number: 7818288
Abstract: A system and method are provided for modeling functional requirements for a project. The method includes creating a first model for a first project, categorizing a portion of the first model according to an eTOM area related to the first project, storing the first model in a repository according to the eTOM category, searching the repository for a model for a project categorized by an eTOM area similar to an eTOM area associated with a second project, and when a similar model is found, using the similar model as a basis for creation of a second model for the second project.
