    Abstract: A brushing implement is formed from flattened pleated multiple layers clamped on a line perpendicular to the pleats and having the troughs of the pleats of each layer converted into crests generally facing the corresponding crests converted from troughs on the other side. When this is performed, the layers are `fluffed out` and form a partial cylindrical or ovoid shape.
