  • Patent number: 5983805
Abstract: A corner shelf assembly adapted to be mounted to vertical walls meeting at a corner. The corner shelf assembly comprises a left support member, a right support member and a base plate. The left support member has a left vertical arm and at least one left base arm intersecting at an angle. The left vertical arm has at least one opening, and the left base arm has a left base arm edge including a left tongue extending from the left base arm edge. The right support member is orientated perpendicular to the left support member. The right support member has a right vertical arm and at least one right base arm intersecting at an angle. The right vertical arm has at least one tab capable of entering the opening in the left support member for releasably interlocking the right support member to the left support member. The right base arm has a right base arm edge including a right tongue extending from the right base arm edge. The base plate is releasably connected to the left base arm and to the right base arm.

  • Patent number: 5979275
Abstract: Syringe needles are cut in an efficient manner and safely disposed using a cutting mechanism and a disposal container. The cutting mechanism includes two discs with sharp edges. The discs are displaced toward each other and into an overlapped position. At the same time, the circular discs are rotated around the longitudinal axis of the needle at a high angular velocity and are allowed to pivot upon coming in contact with the needle. The cutting and disposal apparatus includes a housing with a syringe receptacle for receiving the needle of a syringe and a used needle disposal container. The used needle disposal container has an orifice in alignment with the syringe needle receptacle in the housing.

  • Patent number: 5924969
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a wax dot comprising a housing enclosing a rotating drum. The drum has at least one hole in its surface for receiving a wax to form the wax dot. The wax dot apparatus further includes a wax channel in the housing to deliver the wax to the hole and a dispenser within the drum to eject the wax dot from the hole. When the hole in the drum is aligned with the wax channel, the dispenser is positioned away from the surface of the drum to allow the wax to fill the hole to form the wax dot. When the hole rotates away from the wax channel the dispenser gradually moves toward the surface of the drum to gradually eject the wax dot from the hole.

  • Patent number: 5267494
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an improved bottle opener incorporated on a key having a head and a body. The head has a U-shaped cutout at a downward angle in the range of about 30.degree. to about 60.degree. with fulcrum and lifting edges. The cutout has a width of about -5% to about +8% that of the thickness of a bottle cap. The fulcrum edge has a radius at the cutout opening that engages the top of a bottle cap without puncturing it. The lifting edge passes beneath the rim of the bottle cap, and the body is long enough to provide leverage sufficient to remove the bottle cap.
