    Abstract: An outdoor water service system is described. The system is primarily for providing water for outdoor applications in cold weather, such as flooding outdoor rinks but may also be used for other watering applications in warmer weather. The system includes a source of water connected to an underground hydrant with an above-ground hydrant valve and a heated enclosure with a floor and an opening in the floor through which the hydrant valve extends. The enclosure includes a hose, a heater, a water conduit extending from the hydrant valve to the hose, a first door for accessing the hydrant valve from outside of the enclosure and a second door for accessing the hose.
