The locking apparatus includes a second sliding member that includes a second locking arm that extends from the second sliding member and a second locking aperture assembly configured to cooperate with the first locking aperture assembly to form an aperture configured to prevent relative motion between the first sliding member and the second sliding member when a locking protrusion is inserted therethrough. A locking system and a kit for securing a computing device are described. Methods of use are also provided.
