    Abstract: A clamping bracket which can be used to clamp an armboard on the side rail of an operating table. The clamping bracket has an attachment assembly connected to a base, the base being attached to the armboard. The attachment assembly includes a locking assembly to selectively lock the attachment assembly at a desired location along the length of the base and a clamping assembly to receive and compressively grip the side rail, thereby forming a rigid attachment of the armboard assembly to the side rail of the operating table. In a preferred embodiment, there are two attachment assemblies and, accordingly, two locking assemblies and two clamping assemblies.
