  • Patent number: 12120588
Abstract: Provided are methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for providing data including vehicle map service data. The disclosed technology can perform operations including receiving vehicle map service data from a plurality of service systems that include a plurality of client systems associated with a vehicle. The vehicle map service data can include information associated with a geographic area. A local map of the geographic area within a predetermined distance of the vehicle can be generated based on the vehicle map service data. Portions of the local map to which each client system is subscribed can be determined for each client system of the plurality of client systems. • Publication number: 20210016206
Abstract: A filtration vessel, having within constituent filter media is formed using plastic injection molding to meet the interior specifications of a high-pressure filtration encasement system while remaining a separate replaceable component. The encasement system supports and encases walls of the filtration vessel enabling the vessel to be designed with sufficient strength and resiliency to form a seal and constrain filter media prior to and after use without necessitating construction to endure independent high-pressure operations. The bottom or base of the vessel includes a plurality of holes through which the filtrate may flow. Interposed between the base of the vessel and the filter media is a semi-permeable barrier imbedded into the injection molded walls and base of the vessel. The barrier prevents residue from contaminating the filtrate.

  • Patent number: 8568084
Abstract: A system controls net thrust of a steam turbine having a stepped rotating shaft. A first leak off line fluidly couples a first stage of a turbine section to a packing near a stepped portion on the rotating shaft. A second leak off line fluidly couples a second stage of the turbine section that has a pressure different from the first stage to a step area immediately adjacent to the stepped portion, and a connection line fluidly couples the first leak off line to the second leak off line. The lines include control valves such that a controller can actively control the net thrust by regulating thrust pressure on the stepped portion using steam from the first and second stages of the turbine section. The controller may also prevent damage to an active retractable seal using the control valves.

  • Patent number: 8480352
Abstract: A system controls net thrust of a steam turbine having a stepped rotating shaft. A first leak off line fluidly couples a first stage of a turbine section to a packing upstream of a stepped portion on the rotating shaft. A second leak off line fluidly couples a second stage of the turbine section that is subsequent to the first stage to a step area upstream of the stepped portion, and a connection line fluidly couples the first leak off line to the second leak off line. The lines include control valves such that a controller can actively control the net thrust by regulating thrust pressure on the stepped portion using steam from the first and second stages of the turbine section. Abstract: A doll's seamless garment which is adapted to be dressed, fitted and be removed in a life-like manner from a doll having a height in the range of above 8 cm to about 32 cm, wherein the doll is bendable at least in part. The garment is molded from an elastomeric material or rubber having an average modulus of elasticity of less than 1 MN/m2. The garment wall thickness is preferably in the range of about 1 mm to about 3 mm. Further disclosed is a skin. The skin is adapted to be dressed, fitted and removed from a doll to transform the doll into a different character or object, and wherein the skin is molded in at least one part from an elastomeric material. The skin may have a wall thickness from 1 to 3 mm, the material having an average modulus of elasticity of less than 1 MN/m2.
