In one embodiment a respiratory mask arrangement comprises a sealing lip device to be placed on the facial surface of a mask user, a covering device which defines a mask interior in cooperation with the sealing lip device, and a respiratory gas conduit unit for delivering respiratory gas to the mask interior that is defined by the covering device and is connected to the nostril and/or oral opening of the mask user. At least some sections of the covering device are embodied as an air-permeable structure.

Abstract: The invention relates to a headband means (1) used for applying a breathing mask (2) in a user's facial area. Said headband means (1) comprises a flexible band body that is provided with upper and lower band portions (3, 4) and is used for transmitting the mask holding forces required for applying the breathing mask. At least some portions of the band body are made of a foamed plastic material. The invention further relates to an application device (102) for a breathing mask, comprising a headband means which extends around the back of a user's head. The headband means encompasses a supporting structure (S) made of a material that can at least once be temporarily brought into a state in which at least some portions of the headband means can be individually adjusted to the shape of the back of the user's head.

Abstract: The invention relates to a detection appliance and a method for detecting and evaluating a measuring signal that is indicative of the breathing of a sleeping person, in connection with the observation of sleep-related breathing disorders. The invention also relates to instruments for detecting signals that are indicative of the breathing of a patient. One aspect of the invention is to provide solutions that enable an especially reliable examination in terms of the occurrence of sleep-related sleeping disorders, especially in the usual surroundings of the person concerned.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method and an arrangement for the titration of physiological measurement signals. In particular the invention concerns a method and an arrangement for detection and evaluation of a measurement signal indicative in respect of the respiratory gas flow of a sleeping person, in conjunction with the observation of sleep-related breathing disorders. The object of the invention is that of providing solutions which make it possible to detect physiological properties which are relevant in respect of respiration during a sleeping phase, in a manner which makes it possible to assess the physiological state of the person being investigated with a high level of reliability and correctly match any therapy boundary conditions that are required.
