  • Patent number: 10999257
Abstract: A content item service enables users to upload media for content items to be given to others. The content item service performs operations on uploaded media content, such as transcoding. A transformed instance of content is encrypted using a cryptographic key, and an identifier for the encrypted transformed instance of content is generated. The encrypted transformed instance of content and an encrypted version of the cryptographic key are stored in association with the identifier.

Inventors: Ravi Kiran Chilakapati, Catalin Mihai Constantin, Francis Xavier Kearney
  • Patent number: 10942912
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for chain logging using key-value data storage are disclosed. A chain is generated that represents a plurality of events in chronological order. The chain comprises a head and one or more nodes. The head and the one or more nodes are stored in a persistent data store as a plurality of key-value pairs. For a request to add data indicative of a new event to the chain, the head is updated in the data store to include the data indicative of the new event.

  • Patent number: 10102532
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for tracking and verifying the authenticity of items. Public and private unique identifiers are generated for an item, and an identifier label is printed and affixed to the item. The public identifier is visible, but the private identifier is not visible unless a tamper-evident action is performed. Events involving scans of the public identifier are recorded. The private identifier is scanned by a client, and in response, authenticity information for the item is sent to the client. The authenticity information is determined based at least in part on the events relative to the public identifier.

  • Patent number: 9819648
Abstract: A content item service enables users to upload media for content items to be given to others. The content item service performs operations on uploaded media content, such as transcoding. To keep user-provided content secure, the content is encrypted for transit and at rest. Techniques for use of multiple services allow for management of user-uploaded content that is scalable, efficient, and secure.
